The Gandhinagar Municipal Fire and Emergency Services department is a dedicated 

entity committed to safeguarding the lives and properties of our citizens.

Work of the Branch:

1. Expanding Our Reach: Recognizing the evolving needs of Gandhinagar, we are
   constructing two new fire stations in Bhat and Sargasan. Equipped with
   state-of-the-art technology and advanced firefighting equipment, these
   stations will bolster our ability to deliver swift responses across the
   city, expected to be operational by the end of 2024.
2. Investing in Our Team: We are actively bolstering our workforce by recruiting
   additional staff, including Sub Fire Officers, drivers, and firefighters.
   This strategic expansion ensures that we have the manpower required to
   respond effectively to emergencies and safeguard our community.
3. Upgrading Our Fleet: To enhance our response capabilities, we have acquired
   three new convoy vehicles tailored for VVIP security protocols. These
   vehicles enable rapid deployment and support in high-security situations,
   augmenting our ability to mitigate risks effectively.
4. Fire Prevention is Key: We prioritize fire prevention through regular
   inspections of multi-storied buildings, ensuring compliance with fire
   safety regulations. Additionally, we collaborate with building owners and
   managers to educate them on fire safety measures and enforce adherence to
   standards, safeguarding public welfare.
5. Empowering Our Community: Public education and awareness play pivotal roles in
   fire safety. Through comprehensive training programs, we empower
   individuals within hospitals and schools to initiate firefighting
   measures, minimizing damage before our intervention. These efforts
   underscore our commitment to fostering a resilient and proactive community
