Work of Branch

Removal of Irregular Constructions

Operation of removing raw/ripened pressures (irregular construction) to maintain the structural integrity and aesthetic appeal of the cityscape.

Traffic Obstruction Clearance

Removal of temporary encumbrances such as lorry pits, hoardings, etc., which obstruct traffic flow, ensuring safety and convenience for commuters.

Lorry-Galla Fare Collection

Collection of lorry-galla fares in compliance with municipal regulations, contributing to revenue generation for civic initiatives.

VVIP Program Support

Execution of tasks assigned during VVIP programs, including logistical support and coordination to ensure the seamless conduct of events.

Maintenance of Municipal Facilities

Maintenance and upkeep of municipal-owned facilities to sure their functionality, safety, and attractiveness for public use.

Property Management

Management of properties received from various departments, including lorries, microshopigs, otlas, matlaplots, cabins, etc., in accordance with established norms and regulations.

Shop Certification

Issuance of certificates for shops and establishments, facilitating compliance with legal requirements and promoting business growth.

Leasing of Reserve Plots

Leasing of reserve plots owned by Gandhinagar Mahanagarpalika to eligible individuals or entities, contributing to revenue generation and optimal land utilization.

Record Keeping

Operation of record keeping regarding the naming of properties owned by Gandhinagar Municipal Corporation, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with legal protocols.

• Charitable trusts registered with the Charity Commissioner receive a 50% discount
• Non-commercial events like Garba/Musical programs on the stage have a separate 50% discounted rate.
