Mission

Addressing Grievances and Representations: We diligently handle grievances and representations from all unions registered under the Trade Union Act, 1926, ensuring that the concerns of the workforce are heard and addressed effectively.

Advocating for Workers' Rights

We work tirelessly to uphold workers' rights by focusing on issues such as workers' compensation and minimum wages, ensuring that labourers receive fair and just treatment in the workplace.

Ensuring Compliance with Labour Laws

Our branch is responsible for processing petitions, appeals, applications, and reference cases related to labour laws in collaboration with the Labour Court/Labour Commissioner, ensuring strict adherence to legal provisions and safeguarding the interests of workers.

Facilitating Access to Information

We operate under the Right to Information Act, providing transparency and accessibility to information and documents related to labour court and other court cases concerning workers, empowering them with knowledge and resources.

Caring for Workers' Well-being

In the unfortunate event of a worker's demise during employment, we facilitate processes such as Mediclaim, declaring the worker unfit on medical grounds, and providing employment opportunities to their heirs, demonstrating our commitment to the welfare of workers and their families.

Handling and management of all office orders, circulars, resolutions, notifications, and select files pertaining to labour issues received by the branch, ensuring timely processing and dissemination of relevant information to stakeholders.

Operations Coordination

Coordination and supervision of branch operations, ensuring smooth functioning and effective delivery of services, with a primary focus on empowering workers and advocating for their rights.

Worker Engagement

Engagement in all operations concerning workers serving within the municipality, advocating for their rights and addressing their needs, in alignment with our mission to empower workers through advocacy and support.

Information Management

Maintenance and updating of registered information, ensuring accuracy and reliability in record-keeping to facilitate transparency and accountability in our efforts to empower workers.

Legal Collabouration

Collabourating with Panel Advocates, seeking approvals, and obtaining Parawise Remarks to facilitate legal processes effectively, with a strong commitment to protecting workers' rights and ensuring their fair treatment.
